| While waiting patiently for the "Valley Girl" (Lehigh Valley Heritage unit 8104) to pass through Lafayette Junction on the NS, I was treated to a venerable SD40-2 leading a southbound grain train in the sweet evening light. The 8400 began life as Western Maryland SD40 7449 (WM Class DS-30) in 1969. |
