Sixth time's a charm. After failing 5 times to catch a former Cotton Belt GP60 leading the local to Pacific, MO, in good light, I finally got the shot I was looking for in downtown St. Louis. This pair of engines was scheduled to lead local LSE59, but for some reason they didn't get out of St. Louis and returned to Lesperance Street early. Hard to believe that this ratty, patched SSW unit once was hauling fast intermodal trains. The blue LLPX unit compliments the GP60 nicely.
