Union Pacific’s MNYRO (manifest freight from Denver’s North Yard to Salt Lake City’s Roper Yard) climbs upgrade out of Tunnel 1 just east of Plain, Colorado, on June 16, 2001. Spring rains have made the Front Range mountains around Plainview nice and green.
