| CSX Q439-28 passes through Doswell as it heads south with a trio of power towards Richmond, VA and points south.
Lead Engine #8857 was built as a SD40-2 in August 1979 for Conrail with roster #6500 and then changed to #8857 after Conrail was partially absorbed into CSX.
Engine #8395 was built for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad as a SD40 in March 1971 with roster #7536 and then later converted to a SD40-2 by CSX with the reassigned roster #8395.
Engine #7716 was built in August 1990 for CSX as a C40-8W power unit. May 2012. |
