Montana Rail Link's westbound Gas Local skirts the Clark Fork River as it approaches Plains, Montana. Just 10 cars for the local on this day. MRL's Gas Local carries gasoline, diesel fuel, as well as jet or aviation fuel, between Missoula, and Pipeline (east of Thompson Falls).
