Remarks & Notes

On a snowless December 8, 1990, a girl takes her horse for a ride at the top end of Houlihan’s curve, west of Chillicothe, Illinois, on Santa Fe’s famed Edelstein Hill. Powering the eastbound intermodal at 2:41 p.m. is a pair of GP60s bracketing a GP50.
