Wisconsin Central prepares its newly purchased Santa Fe SD45s with some truck work, among other things, at the shops at North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. I used to wander inside those shops with a camera a lot, and no one ever said anything or told me to leave. The WC was a great railroad! The former Soo Line facility there was simply known as “Shops.”
