Approaching at about 10 MPH, the daily local running east from New Bern takes a good sized train today down 5 blocks of Hancock Street, seen at a distance passing through the Broad Street intersection...clearly they don't have to obey the stop light. Due to light traffic and miles of nonphotogenic running, eastern NC is largely ignored by railfans. However, New Bern is a photographic bright spot with street running past historic homes and two long swing bridges. The Neuse River bridge at sunset is SEEN HERE.
