Remarks & Notes

GE boxcabs 601 "Andrea" and 607 "Alejandra", built in 1927/28 for the "Compania Salitrera Anglo-Lautaro", working a downgrade train, loaded with nitrate from the Atacama, from Barilles down to the port of Tocopilla, in the very last sunrays. The 60 ton locomotives for 1500 DC have 1170 HP and are fitted for regenerative braking.
