Recreating the 'look and feel' of the 1960s in 2012 isn't easy. Preserved locomotives and stock are much too clean. The weather always 'performs' - 'cos we don't get our fancy cameras out unless it does! Our fancy cameras are much, much better than 'back in the day' when grain was always present and images were perhaps less crisp and clinical. This morning I was on a charter in dreadful weather, so dreadful (driving sleet and rain) that I decided to pack it in, but not before this opportunity arose to take an image the 'way it was'. Does it work? I leave that decision to you, dear viewer!
