Looking north along the original Coal & Coke Railway, later the Baltimore & Ohio, and eventually, the New York Central/Penn Central/Conrail right of way in Pinch, the line has been reclaimed by Mother Nature after nearly two decades of being out of service. In 2010, plans were announced to begin progress on the rebuilding of the line to serve a coal tipple at Sanderson, West Virginia. Nearly 16 months later, the condition of the line has not improved and no signs of reclaiming the ROW have started.
