| CNW painted a few units in the C628 fleet during the winter of 1981/82. Some of them were definitely in need of new paint and it made for some good photos until the rigors of ore service and the harsh environment they operated it took its toll. In the meantime sights like this were fairly common as fresh painted 6718 leads 6709 and 56 cars on the Escanaba-Green Bay freight past the depot in Powers. |
