After 65 years in service, locomotive Ge 4/4 I 602 "BERNINA" of the RhB goes in retirement, for the next few years in the Swiss Museum of Transport (Verkehrshaus der Schweiz) in Lucerne. The 47-ton vehicle was placed on a flatbed truck from Landquart to Lucerne and is now being unloaded by two 100 ton cranes on the prepared piece of track. The locomotive travelled about 6 Mio kilometers or 8 times to the moon and back in its career on the Rhaetian Railways network (excluded Bernina line).
