Remarks & Notes
The WAS Kanawha Falls signal, a design by US&S that I'm quite partial to stands guard at the interlocking of 'Kanawha Falls', where the New River main goes from double track to single main. The interlocking has been equipped with new signals and are prepared to be activated and placed into service in the upcoming weeks, as CSX nears completion on new signals at locations east of here. While spring has certainly came earlier on this mild, 55 degree tonight, it's no longer realistic that these C&O signals will live to see the official start of Spring. Progress marches on...

Nocturnal Nuances & Lights In The Night! (Between Sunset - Sunrise / Sundown - Sunup!)

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
