After coming off the former B&O Mountain Subdivision from Grafton earlier in the day, CSX U833 charges eastbound out of Cumberland Terminal through the well photographed Mexico interlocking. While the tower protecting the eastern end of the Cumberland Yard is now out of service, the B&O CPL's are still actively in service. With CSX rapidly replacing signals on their subdivisions system wide, including the Magnolia Cutoff, just east of Cumberland, these CPL's are certainly on borrowed time. This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
