Remarks & Notes

With four EMD SD70Ms on the point, Union Pacific's Salt Lake City, UT to Long Beach, CA intermodal squeals around the big curve at milepost 757.75 just east of Erda. The Great Salt Lake, the former WP line to Oakland, Interstate 80, Promontory Point and the former SP line to Oakland are all somewhere in the background from this perspective at the north end of Utah's Tooele Valley.
