Remarks & Notes
Dallas Union Station was a busy place in 1948. One summer afternoon the north and west Texas section of the Sunshine Special leaves on its way to St. Louis. The train will later be known as the Texas Eagle when it receives its streamlined consist. In the background are the Southern Pacific Sunbeam and the Burlington Sam Houston Zephyr.
