| In the spring of 1994 CNW landed a few all rail ore movements from Empire Mine to CR at Chicago. The CR ore cars came up behind 8600 series GE's from Proviso. While the CR trains were loading the 8600's were put to good use moving a few regular CNW ore trains from the mine to Escanaba. In this shot we have 8602, 8625 moving 100 loads near West Gladstone. These units didn't spend much time in Upper Michigan. |
