| Young blood Built in September of 1979, NS 5256 has the distinction and honor of being the youngest and thus last GP38-2 built for the Southern Railway. It and two other GP38-2s as well as an NS tank car rest on the entrance track to the Norfolk Southern Training Center on a cool December afternoon. |
