Remarks & Notes
The 'Highland Chieftain' (0755 Inverness to London Kings Cross) leans to the curve after crossing Culloden Viaduct, soon after the start of its long journey south. These 125 mph 'HSTs', the first diesels built in the UK for routine high speed running, continue to deliver incredible mileages in style despite their age.
