Lunch is just about over, and the second load of children will shortly be loaded on BNSF Railway's annual Southern California Christmas Train - and the sun popped out! So a few of us hopped off and headed to the west end to photograph ES44C4 6686, festooned with holiday finery for these trips. Sister ES44C4 6715 is coupled to the other end of this seven-car train, so that reversing at Cajon Pass' Summit is a simple matter. Photos taken, it was time to head back to the train, just before the first passengers arrived.
