Long, long ago in a world far, far away, the Southern Pacific Transportation Company ran double stack container trains across the Denver & Rio Grande Western mainline between Pueblo, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah. D&RGW 5342, a newly refurbished SD40T-2 (at Denver's Burnham shops), leads SP's hot CHSZT (Chicago-Sea Land) through American Fork, Utah. After a quick crew change at Roper Yard in Salt Lake City, 5342 would head north via UP trackage rights to Ogden, then hang a hard left onto Southern Pacific rails to the San Francisco Bay area ports.
