At the only mainline switchback in the US, L&N Corbin-bound manifest number 66 swings off the "Old CV" main and down to the first leg of the unique piece of track work. The lead unit is classed by the L&N as an FA-2, but actually it's a steam generator-equipped Alco FPA-2--a unit that also saw some limited passenger service for its owner.
