| CP 3083 with KM22 and CP 8651 are parked in the busy CP yard in Moose Jaw which is nicknamed Little Chicago as a railfan I thought they named it for the massive rail yard until I learned the story behind the city of Moose Jaw in school and the American Gangster Al Capoine who had a huge influence on Moose Jaw as he had tunnels for bootlegging through out downtown and into the yard where they would load up the trains bound for Chicago. If you visit Moose Jaw Saskatchewan I suggest not only visit the yard but take a tour of the tunnels. |
