The day draws to a close. MRL 252 gives a helping hand to a westbound Intermodal flood re-route. The location is Austin "Loops", a series of horseshoe curves designed to lift the tracks out from the bottom of Greenhorn Creek drainage. The design bypassed the original survey that would have used a tunnel and large trestle to span Skelly Gulch.
