Remarks & Notes
The single track line from Muldersvlei via Stellenbosch to Eersterivier and Cape Town was the original route of the Cape Town - Wellington railway. Today, it is an electrified Metrorail commuter train route, but with operational semaphore signals at the four stations on the line providing additional interest for photographers. On a Sunday afternoon, Metrorail train #3410 is approaching the home signal at Lynedoch station, on its way from Stellenbosch to Cape Town.
