| Southern 630 leads a Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum excursion south through Rossville on a spectacular fall morning. The classy 2-8-0 pulled the "Summerville Steam Special" from Chattanooga to Summerville, GA and return over former Central of Georgia trackage (currently operated by the Chattooga & Chickamauga). Many thanks to John Higginson for his skill and expertise on chasing steam over this line and for acting as our guide. His suggestions for good photo locations (like this one passing the “old mill” in Rossville) are much appreciated. |
