Remarks & Notes
VIA Train No 1 stops briefly at Banff, Alberta and loads and unloads passengers. Banff is a major destination for train travelers to the extent Canadian Pacific built a massive and elegant chateau style hotel in town to attract tourists from around the world to relax in opulence during their stay to view the breathtaking Rocky Mountains.
