| When the State of Utah began operations of the Heber Valley Railroad in the 1990's, they lost the right to call it the "Heber Creeper". Now the 100 year colloquial term has returned to present day operations. I spent a few hours walking a trail that follows the line between Charleston and Wallsburg. Here the 'Soldier Hollow Express', or the 'Heber Creeper' if you prefer, rambles slowly along the northern shore of Deer Creek Reservoir in scenic Heber Valley. |
