A colorful stack train snakes its way along the side of the Little Conemaugh River on its way east through Johnstown. In the background is the world's steepest vehicular inclined plane, in front of which a portion of downtown can be seen. On the left side of the view some of last active mill buildings in the city, the former Gautier Division of Bethlehem Steel, where specialty steel shapes are rolled. At one point every steel sled runner in America was rolled at Gautier, and although they don't match that output today, they still regularly recieve loads of steel and switching service from the Conemaugh and Black Lick.
