Remarks & Notes
Stacks return to Keddie! Union Pacific 4109 leads a detoured stack train across the most famous bridge in the Feather River Canyon, the Keddie Wye. The Keddie Wye does not see many stack trains anymore as they were all switched over to the shorter Donner Pass Route in November of 2009. This train has a long battle ahead of it as it is now just entering the Feather River Canyon. This photo was published in the Trains Magazine January 2011 issue.
