| Here we see the northbound Amtrak Texas Eagle running about 3 1/2 hours late being led by AMTK 821, which is a GE P40DC locomotive refurbished to P42DC specifications with funding from the Federal Stimulus Program. This enabled Amtrak to bring these machines, as well as numerous passenger cars, out of storage and place them back in service!! Nikon D200 |
