Atlantic Coast Line 4-8-2 Class J-1 1405 was one of five 4-8-2s built by ALCO in 1924 for the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad as their class P-1. They were sold to ACL in World War II for service between Tampa, Fl and Albany, Ga. They had 69" drivers, 28 x 30 inch cylinders, Baker valve gear, boiler pressure of 210 lbs, and produced 60,845 lbs of tractive effort. The class was retired in the 1951-2 timeframe. This George Pettengill image from my collection captured ACL 1405 moving off of the turntable at Tampa, Florida.
