A low pressure front along with a thunderstorm are riding the heels of a late Triple Crown Roadrailertrain led by a pair of Norfolk Southern locomotives head across the Chippewa River in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The dam holds back the river that form Dells Pond, which was designed to hold logs for all the saw mills in town. Cascade Tissue now sits above the dam.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
