| It was the Summer of Love and I was greeted at Torun station by a couple of my soon to be students, carrying a bunch of carnations. They looked in horror as I ignored their greetings so that I could take a sly picture of this passenger train entering the station. Poland was a Communist country in those days and photographing trains was not approved, I guess I could have ended up behind bars for this. |
