Union Pacific #844 basks in the sweet early morning light as she eagerly awaits her assignment for the day--to take a load of excited railfans and their guests to Gorham, Illinois before continuing onto Cape Girardeau, MO. UP 1982, one of the Union Pacific Heritage Series diesel locomotives, is also part of the consist. I was one of the lucky ones who won a ride on this "Little Rock Express," taking my wonderful wife along as my guest!!
