| Rambling east past Marsh siding with another train load of ore for Geneva Steel the SP 8135,8125,8545 and WC 6506 seem to have things well in hand on a nice Oct. afternoon. When the Geneva Steel trains first started SP assigned tired SD's to them but with the arrival of these new GE's the SD's were quickly replaced. These 8100 class GE's didn't even last very long in this service as the SP soon was taking delivery of AC4400CW's that took over this assignment. |
