| As a storm front moves over the lowlands of eastern NC, a CLNA local gets rolling out of the small town of Belhaven with empties bound for the junction with the CLNA mainline at Pinetown, 17 miles away. Thanks to the crew who saw me out taking pics and slowed to a crawl as they pulled onto the trestle. The CLNA is a fine example of can-do railroading run by some good folks. Belhaven is a small farming community of about 1800 and was once home to the president of the old Norfolk & Southern which served the area.
