Minutes after midnight, NECR train 323 is approaching the North Switch White River Jct. with the ex-Conrail SD40 duo of 5032 and 6281 bracketing the GEXR GP38 3843 during a heavy downpour on Monday overnight.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)

For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
