UP's Fourth South Switcher, the YRO52R, glides east through Grant Tower with the CRGX (Cargill) 2254, an SW1200 interchanged with the Salt Lake Garfield & Western at 10th West. Historically, this switcher was built by EMD for the St. Louis Southwestern in 1964 as the SSW 1066. It would later be leased by the Great Western Railway (GWRX) to the Salt Lake Garfield & Western where it was numbered D.S.8. SLGW used the little gray yard goat between Sept. 1997 and June 2000, placing it in storage upon receiving two SW10's, retired by the Union Pacific.
