Remarks & Notes
Class G1 #6, formerly N&W #352, was built by Baldwin in 1897 as a helper for N&W's Flat Top Mountain to Elkhorn Tunnel grade. It last operated on the Clinch Valley line out of Bluefield with its twin #7 and retired from active service in January 1955. Number 7 also survives and can be seen at Bluefield Park in a photo (HERE) by fellow RP'r Chase Gunnoe.
