A New England Central passenger extra is deadheading Green Mountain Railroad passenger equipment and two spacer boxcars from Montpelier Jct., VT to Bellows Falls, NH and back to the GMRC, following a legislative dinner aboard the train earlier in the week. NECR GP38 3855 has the US flag and POW flag flying on the long hood of the locomotive - compliments of engineer Joe Dufresne - as it passes through historic little South Royalton, VT.
