Remarks & Notes
The fireman of No.3 Holy War climbs from the engine as it draws up to the carriages at Llanuwchllyn on the Bala Lake Railway on the Sunday of the first weekend of operation of 2011. The loco was built in 1902, by Hunslet, for the Dinorwic Slate Quarries, where it worked until 1967. Although not the most famous of the "Great Little Trains of Wales", this is a lovely, friendly line and on a sunny day, quite beautiful.
