| A Conrail SD50 charges against the sunset light and kicks up plenty of dust as she flies by. It's late September and the extremely low light accentuates the orange leaves on nearby trees and Sumac bushes. Milepost 189 on Conrail's Water Level Route is directly behind the locomotive. This "Tank Train" was probably en route from Oswego to Albany. Scanned from Kodachrome 64. |
