Remarks & Notes |
CSX's southbound Hopewell Switcher was crossing James River in Richmond, VA on March 16, 1991, led by B30-7 No. 5551. This was the former SAL main line and was once home to trains like the "Silver Star" and "Silver Meteor." Over the years it has been reduced to secondary status and is used primarily to reach Richmond's industrial south side and the Hopewell Subdivision. |
