| Living in relative obscurity in the Salt Lake Valley railscape, the Salt Lake Garifield & Western does a pretty good business feeding the International (Airport) Center with cars interchanged from the Utah Railway and Union Pacific in Salt Lake City. Here a seven car train curves along a ditch in the grassy flats west of downtown. The locomotive (an SW10), was acquired from the Union Pacific Railroad (as the UP 1230) in 2000. |
