before SP sold off it's copper concentrate operations on this branch to the Copper Basin Railway SP used GP40-slug-GP40 sets to power the copper concentrate trains from Ray Jct, where they were interchanged from the Kennecott Copper Ray Mine Railroad, to the dumper at Hayden.
