They're not E-Units, but they still look pretty good on the point. Amtrak train #3, the westbound Southwest Chief, seen in San Bernardino (Rana, on the BNSF), California, about five hours late on January 12, 1999. A quartet of GE P42DCs is on the head-end and, behind the eight passenger cars, are seven express box cars.
