Remarks & Notes |
a westbound SP "hauler" is heading around the loop track at the east end of West Colton yard toward Los Angeles. West Colton yard is layed out for eastbound operation with recieving yard, hump yard, departure yards from west to east so all westbound trains are built as eastbounds and depart east then take the loop before heading back west. This shot was taken from one if the most popular overpasses in the county, Pepper Ave where all departures could be photographed. |
