Remarks & Notes |
Union Pacific's YRO52R 'Fourth South Switcher' prepares to head through Grant Tower after making a set out at the SLGW interchange yard at 10th West. Former D&RGW caboose #01503 is utilized for several long backup moves along city streets in Salt Lake City. 01503 was built new by International Car for the Rio Grande in October of 1966. While it no longer has the opportunity to cross the Continental Divide through the Moffat Tunnel, it does continue to work many of it's old haunts in Utah's capital city. |
